Our Mission

Together with our volunteers and partners, Superstition Community Food Bank provides food services to qualified individuals and families in East Valley communities with kindness, respect and dignity.

About The Food Bank

Since 1983 the Superstition Community Food Bank has served thousands of people in East Valley communities. We are a food bank offering assistance to individuals and families in need in Gold Canyon, Northwest Pinal County, and East Mesa. In our service area 1 in 5 adults, 1 in 4 children and 1 in 7 seniors are food insecure.

Commitment to Developing Food Security

Working with our partners and volunteers, we look for ways to develop food security and minister to other needs of our neighbors.

Many of our clients are among Arizona’s “working poor,” that is, those who have jobs but still cannot make ends meet.

Our primary commitment is to find, rescue, and distribute food to hungry people through an efficient food distribution model. Using voluntary contributions of food, money, and services from the community, we strive to live up to our mission.
