Volunteer Junction: April 2018 Ideas and Updates in the Superstition Community Food Bank
Superstition Community Food Bank Volunteers and Board Members join Signal Butte Walmart Store Manager Jeff Rowland for an $11,500 check presentation from 7 area stores last week. Congrats to Jeff and Sherri Seoane on the store’s awesome new look!
SHRED-A-THON: Saturday, April 21 from 10 am to 1 pm.
This event was not publicized by organizers as they had hoped. PLEASE PUT IT ON FACEBOOK and ask others to share. It’s simple. Bring your shredding and a few nonperishables or a few bucks for the food bank and all of your shredding will be done on site by two big trucks and volunteers from the Superstition Community Food Bank.
We still need a couple extra volunteers. Let Jim know if you can join us. Wear orange shirts.
Again, this Saturday – 10 am to 1 pm.

AJ Residents are being asked to put non-perishable food in bags provided by Fry’s Food and Drug and place them out for Postal Workers to pick up. Donations are brought to the Superstition Community Food Bank. This year’s goal is 30,000 lbs of food.
It is our plan to send this Volunteer Junction communication to our volunteers, board members and staff regularly to share news and give updates about the goings on at the Superstition Community Food Bank. Please always feel free to make suggestions and offer ideas. We want to foster a positive volunteer experience through open communication
