Partnered with StandUp AJ on a back to school event
During the first part of July 2022 – StandUp AJ, a non-profit organization, hosted a back to school event. Our Executive Director, Erik Arriola manned a table with handouts to the kids/families attending the event. The bags being handed out included breakfast cereal and reading books. All the books were courtesy of the “Kids Need to Read” (kidsneedtoread.org) a non-profit organization based in Mesa.
Erik’s mom (Diana Arriola) volunteered to help and support her son and the food bank during this event – She manned the table while Erik gave a presentation at another event.
We want to say “Thank You” to Standup AJ for including us in this event and we look forward to partnering with them during more events. And a “Thank You” to the Kids Need To Read organization for the book donation. And a “Thank You” to Diana Arriola for being a Great Mom and Volunteer. We appreciate you all!
