Encanterra Country Club Food Drive
Over the July 4th weekend Encanterra Country Club conducted a food drive to benefit the Superstition Community Food Bank. Laura Ray, a Board of Director for the food bank, had arranged for the food drive, placed flyers around the community, collected and delivered the food and money to the food bank.
Superstition Community Food Bank (SCFB) is sending a big “THANK YOU!!” to Laura Ray and the Encanterra Community.. “Thank you so much for the generous donation of 1,691+ pounds of food and the $355.+ monetary donation. A special thanks goes to the volunteers (Sharon Allison-Brown and Laura’s sister) who helped Laura make this a successful food drive.
SCFB works with its volunteers and partners to provide emergency food services to qualified individuals and families in the East Valley communities with kindness, respect and dignity. We are an enabled agency of United Food Bank (UFB) and give out emergency food to provide short-term assistance.
Individuals needing assistance may be your neighbors, co-workers or perhaps even a family member. We are honored to count you as a partner in our efforts to help our neighbors in need.
If you would like further information on how you can help SCFB, please contact our Executive Director, Erik Arriola – cell – 480-233-6680 or e-mail – erik.arriola@superstitionfooodbank.org.
